This is true

"It is very difficult to know people and I don't think one can ever really know any but one's own countrymen. For men and women are not only themselves; they are also the region in which they are born, the city apartment or the farm in which they learnt to walk, the games they played as children, the old wives' tales they overheard, the food they ate, the schools they attended, the sports they followed, the poets they read, and the God they believed in. It is all these things that have made them what they are, and these are the things that you can't come to know by hearsay, you can only know them if you have lived them."

perfectionism

I am thinking over and over again i am professionally perfect for something ...and be recognized all over the world.....i lately understood that i am perfect today.....and that there are no ends for perfectionism.

Here are what some people have to say about it:

"Perfectionism is simply putting a limit on your future. When you have an idea of perfect in your mind, you open the door to constantly comparing what you have now with what you want. That type of self criticism is significantly deterring." John Eliot, Ph.D.,

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Perfection is a road, not a destination. Every time I live, I get an education.
Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900 - 1944)

Assert your right to make a few mistakes. If people can't accept your imperfections, that's their fault.

I do think imperfection's underrated.
Helena Bonham Carter
